Cloud Computing and how it works for us   or The Impact of Cloud Computing on Business Efficiency

Since the beginning of Information technology, network computing models and services have massively evolved and upcycled the way IT businesses work.As technology is integrated more into the business, there are new requirements for how technology is managed.
Cloud computing is one of the technology models that involves the delivery of services  through which you can host and maintain your work and make it effective by doing it all online over the internet without having the need to maintain and manage physical storages, servers, hardwares etc.It also reduces operating complexity and helps you shift your capital expenditure by reducing them to a great extent.It benefits you when you plan to upscale, get insight,increased accessibility, and help organise your business.
It provides you a broad network access and allows you to use resources that  are metered in a way that consumers of services are billed on their actual usage for the time period or hours they use it for.

Since the services and softwares used in this model works on a pay as you need basis and it helps maintain scalability, cost-effectiveness, efficiency by reduction of human involvement and dependency.

Cloud services also let you use a pool of resources  that can be allocated to serve multiple customers over platforms.

There are three structures of this model in which it can categorised which are namely:

1. SaaS –  software as a service.

2. IaaS –  Infrastructure as a service.

3. PaaS – Platform as a service.

1. SaaS- Software as a Service:

In this type of service, customers can rent their software needs from a third party or in private. Software as a service will help you host and manage all the software applications.
SAAS stands for software as a service which allows the users to basically rent softwares by paying charges for it.
It has become a fundamental part of today’s IT infrastructure, very reasonably easy to tackle and cost effective for small to large scale businesses and also for individuals. It helps improve the work quality, as we can use a number of tools and models to improve the efficiency of our work through these modern cloud computing services.
The SaaS provider is responsible for providing softwares that helps operate, host and manage work within the IT infrastructure. SaaS is the most common public cloud computing service that is globally used by a large number of people these days to maintain efficiency during work.
Some smart tools like Seller Amp, Keepa etc fall under the example of Saas softwares that  are part of Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Infrastructure as a service (IaaS):  It is a cloud computing service that allows customers to rent their infrastructure requirements like storage, security, backup, etc.
Cloud services help provide a secure and safe way to store large amounts of data and memory by organising it, that can be accessed by managements, customers and organisations easily.


2. IaaS –  Infrastructure as a Service:

IaaS is a great service that is very beneficial for online businesses and  advantageous to companies in scenarios where scalability and quick provisioning are major factors as well as the companies that want to get rid of the hassle of managing routine operations.IT is stacked and run in such a way that at the bottom is the infrastructure layer, the actual hardware that runs everything. Next comes an operating system, allowing software applications to easily access the hardware components. And finally, there is the application itself, providing a user interface and performing a specific purpose.

In simple words, it is useful for organisations that are growing but don’t have capitals to invest in physical infrastructures and systems to run their businesses.
Organisations are increasingly adopting multi-cloud and hybrid cloud strategies, leveraging services from multiple cloud providers and combining on-premises infrastructure with cloud resources for enhanced flexibility and optimization using the IaaS model which is enabling them to grow and manage work while it auto organises the data safely for you.
A common example of it is Heroku  is used for hosting websites and for testing, developing, deploying, monitoring and scaling using various languages and tools. It offers a rich ecosystem of services, enterprise features, and data services. Another example of it is Oracle cloud that helps you manage databases with the help of IaaS.

Customers can deploy IaaS in one of three different service models like private cloud, public cloud and hybrid cloud.

3. PaaS – Platform as a service:

PAAS stands for Platform as a service. It lets you manage your business by allowing you to use services by resources which are third party software providers who make sure you have a complete development environment where you can connect and spread your network to make work easier. It allows you to share  applications, use online servers, cloud storage etc
PaaS providers are like a resource that are based on innovative technology to help manage the bulk of your cloud computing services, such as servers, runtime and virtualization . PaaS allows you to avoid the expense and complexity of buying and managing software licences, the underlying application infrastructures which requires great investment of capital.
Through this model you manage the applications and services you develop, and the cloud service provider typically manages everything else.


These  models in itself define how vast cloud computing in the field of IT services and in conclusion, its safe to say that cloud computing has transformed the digital landscape, providing unparalleled scalability, efficiency, and accessibility letting us embrace and use the power of it to help propel organisations and unlock future possibilities.
